The contest offers three divisions, Queen, Princess and JR Princess, and is open to young ladies ranging in age from 6 to 25. Contestants who are passionate about Fair and Rodeo, who are good horsewoman and who embrace Mariposa's western rural lifestyle are encouraged to apply!
 

The Rodeo Royalty Committee hosts an introduction meeting for contestants, and a horse qualifier the first Sunday of June. 

The first Saturday of August is the horsemanship and interview portion of the contest, and the second Saturday of August is the onstage performances and crowning which take place at the dinner, held at the fairgrounds.

The committee is hosting an introduction meeting for contestants on June 4th as well
as clinics focusing on public speaking, poise and horsemanship that will be offered in
June and July.

Applications will be available at the Fairgrounds office or online at the following
